Learn how the Form 7 recloser control is designed to deliver:

  • State-of-the-art intelligence
  • Best-in-class integrated security tools
  • Unparalleled scalability to future-proof your investment

    Expanded Form 7 control offering

The Form 7 control is available to retrofit all Eaton legacy electronically controlled three-phase reclosers

The time to upgrade is NOW

For a limited time, Eaton recloser customers can greatly enhance their grid with a new fully featured Form 7 control—which is now compatible with all Eaton three-phase reclosers—at a reduced introductory price.

    Technologically advanced features

Eaton's Form 7 recloser control includes modular, flexible and scalable hardware featuring an 800 MHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM and 4 GB flash storage. The control’s modular layout allows you to easily insert hardware as new applications arise and requirements change.

Integrated security tools help prevent local intrusion or unauthorized operation

Eaton's Cooper Power series Form 7 recloser control includes an array of integrated security tools to help prevent local intrusion or unauthorized operation. This array provides a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) User audit log, signed firmware and an optional door switch (which reports door open/close or switch disconnected status). Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption tools can be utilized to establish a secure, private communications channel for SCADA traffic and remote connection to ProView NXG.

Ease of use and operator familiarity

Eaton's Form 7 recloser control’s powerful Workbench NXG provides a highly intuitive graphical user interface that simplifies and operator familiarity. Workbench NXG logic is readily transparent and provides powerful logic tools that allow you to customize control functions or create powerful, unique applications.
