Eaton helps 3E Power with an extensive distribution equipment lineup

3E Power specializes in turn-key design build EPC (Engineering, procurement, and construction) projects in Tillsonburg Ontario. We have in-house engineering, in house procurement and in house construction services and we specialize in high voltage substation construction, ICI (Industrial Commercial Institutional) and residential, and we have an extensive stocking of both low and high voltage equipment, for all of our EPC projects.

We have been fortunate to develop a relationship with our Eaton representatives, that are always there to support whatever requests we may have. It is more so the relationship that we have develop with our peers that solidifies the relationship between the two companies that have similar goals and business models.

Even if the ideal solution is not available, we always manage to figure out a way to get the most economical solution that leaves our customers with the most flexibility for future requirements.

Partnering with Eaton has given us the ability to work and adapt to any of our customers’ requirements.

With Eaton they have so many product offerings that we can provide complete turnkey solutions such as MCC’s (Motor Control Centres), switchboards, busduct, that we are able to cover the majority of the customers requirements from a single source manufacturer.

We would not have been able to develop our extensive distribution equipment lineup without the relationships that we were to develop over the many years of working together with Eaton. We developed our stocking distribution sections that are used exclusively for our EPC projects over a multi-year period.

The one-on-one interaction with many of Eaton’s team, lead to a product lineup that we were able to develop to be what we believe the most diverse distribution equipment in stock anywhere.

Canadian manufacturing is so important to us because without being able to interact with the plant in Milton and their extensive resources we don’t believe we would have been able to develop the offering we now have available. We spent many hours over the development period reviewing the design and our requirements to be 100% reconfigurable for our customers requirements.

Our view on developing local talent and skills in Canada is that we have always believed some of the best and brightest candidates come from our local community.

If an employee has the right attitude, we can help grow that employee to be anything they want to be. We used to look for experience when hired candidates but over the years have found that our most successful team members have always begun with possessing the right attitude and genuinely caring about their work.

The pandemic has not really changed my view of the importance of manufacturing in Canada. Over the years we have seen shortages in equipment from hurricanes and other natural disasters. The pandemic is just another unplanned event in our timeline that has helped to identify weakness in the supply chain.

We have always valued the ability to work with our local Eaton plant weather it be in Milton, Ontario or the west coast depending on the product line we are working with, if we were to deal with any of the other manufacturers, we would not be able to be at their facility within hours.

This ability to have not only a close working relationship with a company such as Eaton as a business partner, but to physically have the manufacturing facilities within hours of our office has definitely given us a competitive edge against other competitors dealing with alternate manufacturers and suppliers.
