Backup Power (UPS)

Lithium-ion UPS battery systems

Eaton’s lithium-ion battery systems provide a compact, reliable and flexible solution that ensures 24/7 system uptime while delivering significant total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) savings. Capable of providing megawatts of power in a small footprint, this battery solution is comprised of lightweight battery strings designed to seamlessly connect to an Eaton 9395 family UPS or 93PM UPS.

Why lithium-ion?

Lithium-ion chemistry offers exceptional advantages in UPS applications due to it's lightweight design and high energy density, allowing more energy storage in compact spaces. These batteries last longer, enduring more charge cycles with fewer replacements and reducing long-term costs. Lithium-ion batteries also charge quickly, exhibit higher efficiency and have lower cooling needs due to a wider temperature tolerance. Additionally, the integrated advanced battery management system (BMS) monitors and regulates system performance and can operate on either internal DC logic power or AC logic power supplied by the customer.
