Crouse-Hinds series Roughneck heavy industrial multi-pin connectors provide heavy duty control and instrumentation power in harsh, industrial locations.  

Designed specifically for use on land-based and offshore drilling rigs, Roughneck multi-pin connectors are:

  • Used on motor loads and control circuits in the plug board panel;
  • Used on control, data and power circuits in the control house;
  • Used on the top drive system that operates the drilling apparatus.

  • Shells – high tensile strength aluminum; hard anodic coating per MIL-A-8625, Type III, olive drab color
  • Inserts – rigid insulator: thermoplastic; resilient insert: silicone rubber
