We’re excited to host Jimmy in the Eaton booth at CES 2025. He will be signing autographs, answering questions and unveiling a special project that we’ve commissioned just for our CES visitors.

Jimmy DiResta—widely considered the “godfather” of the maker community—is a designer, craftsman, technologist, content creator and social influencer based in the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. In addition to building a following of over two million friends, fans and followers on YouTube and Instagram, he is the co-host of the Making It podcast, and the creative force behind several TV shows, including his most recent effort, Making Fun, which was the highest rated children’s program on Netflix in 2022.

Eaton is working with Jimmy on several fronts, including partnering with him on all things electrical in his home and shop, including the modernization, connectivity, circuit protection and wiring devices on his ‘Graveyard House’ project.  This whole home remodel/restoration will bring an 1800’s era farmhouse into the modern age with a vision of an energy independent, connected and electrified showplace.

Mark Kelly, PhD, is a technology executive with over 20 years of expertise driving innovation at the intersection of advanced semiconductor systems, artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, and digital transformation. As Vice President at Eaton’s Centre for Intelligent Power in Dublin, Ireland, he leads Eaton’s global AI strategy, embedding intelligence into product architectures and shaping the future of intelligent power management.

Before joining Eaton, Dr. Kelly served as Principal Engineer and Lab Director at Intel Labs, where he spearheaded R&D efforts in industrial IoT and edge computing. His leadership in developing Intel’s IoT platforms drove substantial revenue growth and positioned the company as a leader in connected technologies.

An authority in AI, semiconductor architecture, and embedded systems, Dr. Kelly holds more than 100 patents spanning semiconductor design, networking, and AI technologies. His contributions to the field have earned him numerous accolades, including AI Leader of the Year (2023), a CES Innovation Award (2018), and recognition for the Multinational Software Project of the Year (2014).

Dr. Kelly earned his PhD in Computer Science from University College Dublin, specialising in Wireless Systems. He also holds an MSc in Computer Science from the same institution and a BSc in Computer Science from Dublin City University.

John Krzeszewski is the Cybersecurity & Functional Safety Excellence Lead for vehicle systems at Eaton, chair of the SAE Vehicle Cybersecurity Systems Engineering Committee and co-convenor with ISO on automotive cybersecurity standards, such as the ISO/SAE 21434. John was inducted into the 2019 "Contributor of the Year" class at SAE, for his contributions to the advancement of the mobility industry. Over the years, John has worked on cybersecurity for autonomous vehicles, vehicle networks, electrical systems and associated software.

John is also a member on the SAE Motor Vehicle Council. John began his career at General Motors, where he developed and deployed one of the first automotive telematics systems, which automatically reported steering system usage of police cars and taxicabs in the field. Since then, he has worked on cybersecurity for autonomous vehicles, vehicle networks, medical devices, electrical systems, and associated software. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University, and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
